AREAS WE SERVE
A Valor Way Recovery Homes is based in Saint Paul, in Ramsey County, not in Minneapolis itself. We get asked about Minneapolis often enough that it's worth saying plainly: our house is on the Saint Paul side of the river, and residents who work, attend meetings, or see a provider in Minneapolis make the trip regularly. This page is for anyone comparing sober living options across the Twin Cities and trying to figure out how the two cities connect.
Minneapolis sits across the river, about 10 miles from the house, a 15 to 20 minute drive up I-94. Residents who would rather skip driving can take the METRO Green Line, which runs from Union Depot in downtown St. Paul straight to Target Field in downtown Minneapolis in about 40 to 45 minutes, with frequent service throughout the day.
For meetings closer to home, residents attend Elements AA and Full Circle, and cross into Minneapolis for NA meetings at Elliot Park, Alano Club, or Hope Harbor. For clinical treatment, the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's St. Paul campus on Stewart Ave is a short trip from the house.
For other sober living options in the area, the Sober House Directory's Minneapolis listing is a good place to start. Chartered Operators complete the Vanderburgh Mastery program, and Vanderburgh Communities lists current leasing opportunities across the network. Safe recovery-focused housing that provides a strong foundation for continued growth.

Peer support and accountability designed to strengthen connection and recovery.

Encouragement to build healthier routines, meaningful goals, and long-term stability.
Residents who want a meeting in Minneapolis have real options within a short Green Line ride or drive of downtown, including the Elliot Park group and the Alano Club on 1st Avenue South. Closer to home, in Saint Paul itself, Elements AA and the Full Circle women's group are both a short ride from the house, which is usually where new residents start before branching out to meetings across the river. The Twin Cities also have an unusually deep bench of addiction treatment resources, and the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's Saint Paul campus, a short drive from the house, is the one most residents and their families already know by name.
